Data deletion
LastWagon Data Deletion Requests
LastWagon is an Android app for commercial truck drivers, published by LastWagon, a subsidiary of Hobo Express Cartage LLC (Tennessee, United States). This page explains how to ask us to delete data associated with you, and — just as importantly — what we can and cannot find.
How to make a request
Email support@lastwagon.app with the subject Data deletion request, and tell us what you would like removed.
- If your request is about a beta signup or a Premium account, send it from the email address you used. That address is how we find the record.
- If your request is about a CB-19 message, include enough to identify it — roughly when it was posted, the handle it was posted under, and what it said.
- You do not need an account to make a request, and there is no form to fill in.
We will reply to the address you write from. We may ask you to confirm something only to be sure we are deleting the right person’s record — never to collect anything new.
What you can delete yourself, right now
Almost everything LastWagon holds about you is on your own phone, not on our servers: your Driver Ledger, loads, expenses, fuel purchases and receipt photographs, your pre-trip inspections, your CDL practice progress, your truck profile and your saved routes.
Uninstalling LastWagon deletes all of it, as does Android’s “Clear storage” in system settings. Neither one needs our involvement, and we never had a copy.
What we can delete on request
- Your beta signup. The name and email address you submitted on our website. We look it up by address and delete the record.
- Your Premium account. We can revoke the account and its entitlement so it no longer works.
- A CB-19 message that needs to come down sooner than it would on its own — something you posted about yourself that you would rather not have, or something somebody else posted about you.
What deletes itself over time
CB-19 is a chat channel, and its traffic is designed to pass rather than accumulate:
- Messages are kept only as a rolling window of the most recent 200 messages, and at most 7 days — whichever runs out first. There is no permanent transcript.
- A display handle you stop using is dropped after 90 days.
What we keep for safety, and for how long
One record outlives the rest on purpose. When a message is blocked by moderation, we keep the text of that blocked message and what was decided about it for 90 days, so an enforcement action can be reviewed or reversed. Messages that were allowed are not written to it.
We will not delete a moderation record on request inside that window — it is what protects other drivers, and it is the one thing on this page a request cannot override. It clears itself at 90 days.
What we genuinely cannot find
Some data was deliberately stored with no link to the person who sent it. That was a privacy decision, and it has an honest cost: we cannot retrieve it either.
- Community reports — parking, truck-stop ratings and weigh-station status. A report is stored with a place and one small fact, and no identifier of any kind — no account, no installation token, no IP address. There is nothing to search by, so we cannot locate your past reports to delete them. Neither can anyone else, which is the point. We will not pretend otherwise.
- The count of included Basic routes. It is a single number kept against a one-way value derived from your device, not a record of the routes themselves. A factory reset changes the underlying value and ends the link.
Where there is nothing to delete
- Weekly Smart Insights. We store and log nothing from it — not the figures sent, not the text returned. The result lives in your ledger on your phone. What the AI provider retains under its own terms is not ours to delete, and we say so rather than implying a zero we do not control.
- Receipt double-checking. The image is held only for the length of the request and written nowhere.
- Routing. No location is stored on our servers.
The complete picture
This page is a summary. Our Privacy Policy sets out every one of these points in full, including exactly what each feature sends, where it goes and how long it is kept. Section 12 covers deletion.
